Buttery Boy Brisbane

Pancake lovers, prepare to make a brunch date with Fortitude Valley’s newest cafe, Buttery Boy Brisbane. A new spot from the team formerly behind Valley cafe Halo Ground, this sweet spot in Chinatown Mall is dedicated to fluffy hotcakes dubbed ‘buttercakes,’ which you can customise with housemade sweet or savoury butters in flavours like espresso, maple or Biscoff.  

After something more decadent? Order up one of the specialty hotcakes, which come in Cinnamon Bun, topped with Biscoff spread, vanilla mascarpone and donut glaze, Pavlova or their new Nutella Bombe Alaska flavour . Alongside pancake stacks, you can also order the likes of bacon and egg breakfast bowls, eggs your way on toast, breakfast burgers and baked goods. 

They’re pouring Supreme Coffee Roasters espressos as well as smooth batch brews, but if you really want to indulge, be sure to order one of their Boujee Hot Chocolates, which come in flavours like cookies 'n' cream +and white chocolate brulee and come topped with toasted meringue. 

You can nab a table indoors or out in the mall, but if you just can't swing a trip to the Valley of a morning, they're also now open Friday and Saturday nights—pancakes for dinner, anyone?
